DEATH NOTICE
Clifford L. Fisher – Jan 17, 1928 - Mar 17, 2013.
He passed away peacefully after a life well lived. Even in his last moments, his thoughts never strayed from his true love, his best friend and lifelong companion, his wife of 63 years Ethel Lansing Fisher, who survives him. He is also survived by his sisters Jean (Rod Eaves) of Ottawa, and Barbara of Winnipeg.
Pops also leaves his four sons Ken (Liz Craven), Doug (ex Andree Giroux), Andy (Micheline Houle), and Bill (Nancy Hoyland), 3 granddaughters (Carly, Kristin, and Kassandra) and 6 grandsons (Connor, Ian, David, Charles, Kevin, and Alex).
After a 42 years career with Merck Frosst, Cliff spend his retirement traveling with Ethel, playing golf with his sons and friends, and fishing whenever he could. But most of all, he loved following his grandchildren around, supporting them in their hobbies and athletic endeavours, logging 1000’s of miles, to watch hockey, baseball, softball, volleyball, dance and football, regardless of the weather.
Funerals arrangements entrusted to Berthiaume Funeral Home Ltd. 416, McGill St., Hawkesbury, Ontario (877) 632-8511.
The family would love to see you on Saturday March 23 between 1 and 4 or 7 and 9 at Collins Clarke MacGillivray White Funeral Home 307 Riverside Dr., St-Lambert, Québec to share stories of this unique man, not to grieve his passing but to celebrate his life and how our lives have intertwined.
In lieu of flowers, Cliff would have preferred that you make a donation to a local sports team of your choice.
Condolences may be conveyed by fax at (613) 632-1065 or visit our Web Site www.salonfuneraireberthiaume.com
