Peter: I read the obituary this morning, and my heart sank. Lynda was such a good person, so compassionate, so giving, so easy to talk to. I'm wondering how you are doing and want to hear from you. Please email me at perkins_carole@rogers.com

Lynda and I first met in 2006 when we shared the same hospital ward. I will never forget how she lifted the spirits of the whole ward and the kindness she showed me when I needed a friend. We hit it off and kept in touch and I got to know the beautiful lady she was. I will miss our little chats but in her memory I will live my life to the full, she was so positive, kind and thoughtful and I am so lucky to have known her. Thinking of you Peter xxx

I first met Lynda in Poole, England when we were at college together....in 1977! She was a true, loyal and warm friend, and always cheerful, always kind. My family were all fond of her. We lost touch for many years but I'm so glad I saw Lynda again back in her beloved Canada in 2011. What a shame she couldn't enjoy many more years there with you, Peter. But she had the best love and support. RIP Lynda till we meet again.

My most sincere condolences to all of Linda's family. I had the pleasure of meeting Linda when she acquired the little restaurant in the Old Jail building in L'Orignal. She would cross the Street when she saw me outside just to shoot the breeze as she would say!! Very nice lady! Be at peace by knowing you have an angel looking over you! RIP young lady!

Lynda; I arrived in Ringwood Hampshire England in 2002 at the Crown Hotel. You made me feel so welcome, often inviting me to spend the evening with you and Pete in the hot tub. You were generous, kind and ambitious and knowing you made me a better person. I sorry I haven't seen you and Pete for a while but I still have the beautiful hand crafted bottle opener you purchased for me, so everytime I have a drink, I've always remembered you. Cheers! Rest In Peace Lynda. Thoughts to Pete. Love Mike

So sorry to hear the tragic news; I knew Lynda in 1977 when we were both at Poole College in the UK, and heard the news through a mutual friend, Binny Coombes. I remember her always being very bright and smiley and always willing to help. She was great at looking after us - and, dare I say it, tidying up after us as well! My sincere wishes to Peter for his considerable loss: it is very apparent from reading the messages that she was clearly loved by very many people - a huge testament to the person she grew to become.
