To the Tomchishen familly, I was saddened when I heard of your fathers passing. I always enjoyed speaking business with him and I think he also liked it. He always wanted me involved in some venture or another. may you rest in peace Wally

My sincere condolences to the family of Wally Tomchishen. I knew Wally from visiting his music store in Hawkesbury and buying musical instruments from him. He was always friendly and helpful. I was lucky enough to run into him out and about last year and he was still the same, friendly and wonderful.

To the Tomchisen Family, my most sincere sympathies to all of you. I've known Wally since 1968 when I bought my first guitar from him. At that time his store was in the basement of the Centre Guindon in Hawkesbury. He then moved to William St. where I took guitar lessons from him and eventually worked for Wally as a guitar teacher. I vividly recall getting my driver's license using his big olsmobile 98. Oh the good memories I have! I stopped in to see Wally at his house a year or two ago when we had a long conversation about mostly everything. I will cherish those memories forever. Rest in Peace Wally! Rest in Peace my Friend!

My deepest sympathy to all of Walter's family and friends. Walter was such a cool soft spoken gentleman and a dazzling accordion player in the days. Although I only met Walter a few time over the years, I will never forget my first gig playing with him at the Lachute Golf Club. His upbeat jazzy style lite up the entire party not mentioning the priceless feeling and memory I still cherish today of his music and the nice human being he was. My dad Paul also enjoyed his piano style. You will be missed, Wally. Rest in peace my friend.
