DEATH NOTICE
Mr. Gabriel Chobanov from Hawkesbury
passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2013 at the age of 84.
He was the beloved husband of the late Anne Burns and of Jelena Ajvaz;
the son of the late Gavrilo Chobanov and of the late Maria Lazarevic;
the cherished father of Peter (Anne), Gregory, Robert (David), Mark (Debbie) and Paul (Louise);
the loving grandfather of Nikola, Gabriel, Sarah-Anne, Michael, Stephen, Jackie, Trish, Lee and Meaghan;
the great grandfather of 9 great grandchildren;
the dear brother of Zlatica.
He was predeceased by three brothers and one sister.
Also survived by many sisters-in-law, cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.

Wednesday, October 23, 2013 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.to 9 p.m. and also on Thursday, October 24, 2013 from 11 a.m.
A funeral service will be held at Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Hawkesbury, Ontario, on Thursday, October 24, 2013 at 2:00 p.m.
Interment at the Hillside Cemetery in Hawkesbury, Ontario.

Please accept condolences from the Sandre family in Oakville on the passing of Mr. Chobanov. As a family friend and former neighbour, thinking of 'Mr.C' brings back a lot of great, shared memories from my days in Hawkesbury: his love of soccer, volleyball, spirited discussions on all things political, getting me drunk on brandy when I came back for my first Christmas during university ...! One distinct memory I have is when Maradona scored his famous World Cup goal against England and Mr C came running across the street to share the replay with us! He was a great man.
