DEATH NOTICE
Mr. Pertti (Peter) Vaittinen from Hawkesbury, Ontario passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2013 at the age of 80.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife Vineo Laila Luonua.
He leaves behind many relatives and friends in Finland.
Peter will be sadly missed by his neighbors Betty & Yvan Charron, his longtime friend Bert Chew as well as many friends from the Hawkesbury Golf & Curling Club where both he and his wife were longtime members.
At Peter’s request, there will be no visitation; cremation took place. A private interment will be held at Mount Royal Cemetery, Montreal, Quebec, at a later date.
Special thanks to the staff of the Hawkesbury General Hospital for their kind attention and care of Peter.

Although no words can really help to ease the loss you bear, just know that you are very close in every thoughts and prayers. Peter loved to come to tim hortons and have lunch all most every day and ask for his desert but it was not something sweet he wanted because he was not a loud to eat any.He wanted to see me smile it made his day and mine to I will miss watching for him come through the door but he will not be forgotten .
