DEATH NOTICE
Groulx - Mrs. Gilberte from Hawkesbury
passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at the age of 99.
She was the beloved wife of the late Hilaire Groulx;
the daughter of the late Wilfrid Cadieux and of the late Clémentine Aumais;
the cherished mother of Jean-Luc (late Pierrette) and Jacques-Yves (Linda);
the loving grandmother Daniel (Françoise), Christine (Joël), Michel and Joanne (Eric);
the great grandmother of Kathryn, Justin and Alexim.
She was predeceased by three brothers, Floriant, Albert and Aumais, one sister Gertrude and one great grandson Alexis.
Also survived by many nephews, nieces and friends.
The family would like to thank all the staff at the Prescott-Russell Residence for the excellent cares given.

The service will be held at the McGill chapel in the funeral home on Monday, November 18, 2013 at 11:00 a.m.
Interment at St-Victor cemetery in Alfred, Ontario.

Quelle chance on a eu étant enfant de faire connaissance de cette GRANDE. petite DAME qui tenait le dépanneur au coin des rues William et Higginson. C'était le coin de rencontre de tous, les jeunes amoureux aussi bien que les chefs de gang. Mme Groulx avait toujours le mot juste, quelle patience et quelle gentillesse. Elle fait partie de nos plus beaux souvenirs de jeunesse. Merci chère Dame d'être passée dans ma vie. Bon courage à tout les membres de sa famille.

Sincères condoléances à la famille Groulx. Je garde tellement de précieux souvenirs de ce petit resto près de l`ancienne gare. Mme Groulx et son mari nous recevaient toujours avec beaucoup de gentillesse. Comme enfants, nos arrêts y étaient fréquents pour acheter des bonbons à la cent. Plus tard, ça été notre lieu de rencontre comme adolescents, avec Jack comme on l`appelait, qui figurait dans le groupe. Mes pensées sont avec vous.
