DEATH NOTICE
Mrs. Manon Myre Ranger from Hawkesbury passed away suddenly but peacefully, after a long battle against muscular dystrophy, on Thursday, September 18, 2014 at the age of 56.
She was the daughter of the late Florimond ‘‘Pit’’ Myre and of the late Florida ‘‘Flore’’ Sauvé;
the dear sister of Robert (Nicole Lavoie), Francine (late Jean-Yves Lepage), Luc, Sylvain and Nathalie (Dale Oswick).
She also leaves her roommate Pierre Guérin and the father of her children,
Guy Ranger (Ginette Doiron).
She was predeceased by her two loving sons Martin and Sébastien Ranger and her brothers and sister: Yves, Gilles (late Réjeanne Piché), Danielle (Michel Dupéré) and Roch (Pauline Villeneuve).
Also survived by many uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.
Manon, in spite of her disease, was always smiling and happy. When asked how she was, she would always answer, smiling and with spirit: ''I'm good. Why wouldn’t I be?’’ Yet, she had all the reasons in the world to say that she wasn't well… She was impatiently awaiting her admittance at Prescott-Russell Residence in Hawkesbury since February 2014 but she will not have had the chance to get there. May her soul rest in peace.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Berthiaume Family Funeral Home, 416, McGill Street, Hawkesbury, Ontario (877) 632-8511.
A funeral service will be held at the Saint-Pierre-Apôtre Parish in Hawkesbury, Ontario on Thursday, September 25, 2014 at 2:00 p.m.
