DEATH NOTICE
Mr. Romuald Desjardins from Hawkesbury previously from Smooth Rock Falls, Ontario and most recently from the Laurentians,
passed away Friday April 17th 2015 at the age of 88 years and 6 months.
He was the beloved husband of the late Juliette D'Amours;
the son of the late Cyrice Desjardins and of the late Marie-Alice Adelaide Bélisle;
the cherished father of Jacynthe (Michel) Deschamps, Lisa (Jacques) Desjardins, Claire Desjardins, and Yvan (Nancy) Desjardins;
the loving grandfather of Natasha, Véronique, Amélie, Cédric, Jesse, Jason and Kim;
the great grandfather of Liam, Jacob, Zachary, Isabelle and Sydney.
He also leaves many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and friends.
You will stay in our hearts forever.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Hawkesbury General Hospital for the excellent care given to their father.

Grandpapa, One of my fondest memories of my grandpa was every year in Florida. You took me fishing on the beach with those huge nets, you took us clam picking which was always followed by grandmas fabulous clam chowder soup. Best of all was we hung out on the beach or by the pool. Thank you for the great memories, you can rest in peace now and be reunited with grandma again. Je t'aime Amelie

Good Bye Daddy!! My Dad was a great warrior that over came many obstacles in is life, many of them physically with health issues even in the last few days as he was in bed and could hardly move and I know he was in pain he never complained, greeted the nurse (which took excellent care of him) everyday with great love! He was my friend, my mentor, my daddy, I will always remember you! He is leaving behind Jackie, Lisa, Claire and me to carry the flame a little further... I know for myself that my life will never be the same without you and from now on every time I will see someone smile I will think of you of how much you loved life dad! May God rest his soul! He is truly at peace now. P.S. Dad please give a big hug to Mom in heaven for me! Happy Trails Dad!

Cet être qui est parti avait vécu auprès de vous une foule de moments doux qu'il emporte avec lui dans sa nouvelle maison... Espérant que le temps atténuera votre douleur et que les beaux moments, à jamais gravés dans votre coeur, seront pour vous réconfortants. Je me compte bien chanceuse d'avoir fait sa connaissance. Il va beaucoup nous manquer ici au Manoir McGill.

Nous sommes profondément touchés par le départ de notre oncle, nous avons eu la chance de le voir et fréquenté à l'occasion à Wenworth-nord. il étais toujours ravi de nous rencontrer et avait un enthousiasme contagieux, nous garderons un souvenir impérissable et inoubliable dans nos cœurs.
