DEATH NOTICE

Mary Lemay (Jardine) passed away peacefully on April 22nd, 2015 in her ninety-second year.

Beloved wife for 66 years of the late Edward Lemay and dearly loved mother of John (Lois) and Brenda (Christopher).

Cherished Granny of Matthew (Suzanne), Carolyn (Heidi), Victoria, Meaghan and Allyson and loving Great-Granny to Ellen.

She is fondly remembered by Martin (Gen) and family.

Born in St-John's Nfld. on Aug 15, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Jardine and Ellen Power. Dear sister to Ray, Cyril, Percy, Stan, Hilda, Kevin and Des. (all deceased). Sister-in-law, to Richard and Doreen Lemay, Lillian Dagg (late Ken), Gladys and Ted Taylor, Shirley Lemay (late Elmer) and Ruth (deceased). She was a special aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Mary served overseas as a WREN in WWII and we are all very proud of her service to Canada.

Our family was so lucky to have had such a beautiful, loving and remarkable lady in our lives all these years and she will be greatly missed.

At Mary's request, there will be no funeral. A private family graveside ceremony and internment will take place in July.

Heartfelt thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at Prescott-Russell Residence for their wonderful care and compassion.
