DEATH NOTICE
Mr. Yvan Lemay from Hawkesbury passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at the age of 86.
He was the beloved husband of the late Marie-Claire Primeau;
the son of the late Émile Lemay and of the late Annette Laferrière;
the loving father of Benoit (Line) and Pierre (Marie-Claude);
the adored grandfather of Geneviève-Anne, Katharina, Jean-Christophe, Clarence and Elyse;
the dear brother of Jean-Marc (late Denise), Gérald (late Marie), André and Marielle (Luc Jutras).
He was predeceased by a brother Denis (Madeleine).
He is survived by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.
Funeral details were entrusted to Berthiaume Family Funeral Home 416, McGill, Hawkesbury, Ontario (877) 632-8511.
A funeral service will be held at Saint-Pierre-Apôtre Parish in Hawkesbury on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. The family will be present from 9:30 a.m. to receive your condolences. The interment at St-Clément de Beauharnois cemetery will follow the service.
A mass in memory of Yvan Lemay will be held at St-Clément Church in Beauharnois Sunday November 5th 2017 at 11 a.m. The family will be present from 10:30 a.m. to receive your condolences.

It is with the deepest sympathy that I hear of the passing of Mr. Lemay. Having worked with him for over 25 years at CIP Research here in Hawkesbury, I always considered him to be a true gentleman and a very kind person. He was always most gracious to everyone who worked with him whether you were one of the professional staff or merely a secretary. I offer my condolences to his family; he will be deeply missed by all family and friends. May he rest in God's peace.
