DEATH NOTICE
Romeo Lavoie
1940-2017
With deep sorrow and wonderful memories, the family announces his peaceful passing, at home, on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at the age of 77 years.
He will be sadly missed by his cherished companion Claire Allaire, his daughter Roseanne (Jocelyn Proulx), his sister Marie-Paule (Fernand Lavoie).
He also leaves his daughter-in-law Joëlle (Gilles Marcil), their children: Taylor, Alexi, his son-in-law Marc Allaire (Christine), their children: Tristan, Jaden and Téa.
He was predeceased by his wife Ginette Martino, his parents: Pierre Lavoie and Éva Corbeil, his brothers: Raymond, Rhéal and Réjean.
He is survived by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nephews, nieces, Claire's extended family and many friends from Canada and the United States.
The family would like to sincerely thank the Bayshore Home Health team, the staff of Paramed and the Hawkesbury General Hospital for their outstanding service.
His charming smile, his joker sense of humor will always be engraved in our hearts.
Family invites family and friends at Berthiaume Family Funeral Home 416 McGill Street, Hawkesbury, Ontario (877) 632-8511, Saturday, November 18, 2017 starting at 11 am. A celebration will follow in the chapel of the funeral home at 1 pm.
