DEATH NOTICE
Mr. John Kirby from Chute-à-Blondeau passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at the age of 79.
He was the son of the late Wyman Kirby and of the late Carrie Hunter;
the beloved father of Mélanie (Wendy Whyte) and JD (Laura Mahon);
the loving poppa of Johnny and Tyler;
the dear brother of Helen (late Allister Wyman) and Robert (Judy Barton).
He was predeceased by his sister Betty (late Keith Netterfield).
He also leaves behind many cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Berthiaume Family Funeral Home, 416, McGill Street, Hawkesbury, Ontario (877) 632-8511.
The family invites relatives and friends to the Chute-à-Blondeau Community Center on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm for a Celebration of Life.
For those who wish, donations to the Pulmonary Association, 500-2319 St-Laurent Boul. , Ottawa, Ontario, K1G 4J8 and/or to the Hawkesbury General Hospital Foundation, 101-175, Main Street West , Hawkesbury, Ontario, K6A 2H3 would be appreciated.

We were across the road neighbors for well over 30 years and fondly remember John taking some of us on a horse drawn sleigh ride on the farm shortly after we moved in. We always had John's number handy for those cases when we saw a horse by itself on our side of the road, a dead calf on our driveway or a horse with its head stuck between the gate and the post.
