DEATH NOTICE
It is with tenderness that the family announces the passing of a man of great warmth and kindness, with unswerving integrity, Mr. Marcel Claude, on Monday April 30, 2018 at the age of 86. He dedicated his life to his beloved wife, Claire Lévesque Claude, who left us 8 years ago, and to his five children. His family was his pride and joy.
He was the son of the late Edouard Claude and of the late Antonia Parent, and the brother of the late Roger (late Monique Gélinas, Henriette Tanguay), late Jean, late Margot (Jean-Claude Germain), late Adrien, and Monique (late Clarence « Danny » Daniels).
He was the brother-in-law of Madeleine Vanier (late Benoit Vanier), late Marie-Paule Lévesque (late Jean-Maurice Rousseau), Maurice Lévesque (late Micheline Labrosse), late Pierre Lévesque (late Pierrette Casavant), late Thérèse Cloutier (late Guy Cloutier), late Guy Lévesque (late Madeleine Froment), late Jean Lévesque (late Jeannine Tanguay Lévesque).
Marcel will forever watch over his children: Jean (Cathy Rutherford), Michelle (Donald Piché), Paul (Carolynn Leclair), Solange (Michel Potvin) and Richard; his grandchildren: Tristan, Marc (Linda), Sandy (Jeff), Claude Pascal (Kim), Samantha (Jonny), Kristen, Timothy (Abbie), Ryan (Lara), Cassidy, Victoria, Justino, Giordano (Savannah), Justin, Sarah (Scott); his great-grandchildren: Daphnée (Karl), Britney, Bradley, Nicholas, Gabriel, Jade, Amélie, Guillaume, Liam; and his beloved little sister Monique. He will also watch over his many cousins, nieces and nephews from the Claude and Lévesque families, as well as many friends. Marcel touched the lives of everyone who crossed his path.
The family extends their warmest appreciation and thanks to the caring staff at the Prescott & Russell Residence. They provided excellent care for many years and treated him as family, and Marcel always expressed how appreciative he was for their devotion and friendship. They were alongside his children as he peacefully passed. Thank you also to the Hawkesbury General Hospital for the excellent care provided.
