Mr. Rudolf Schwaninger of L'Orignal, Ontario passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at the age of 98 and 11 months. From Germany, Mr. Schwaninger arrived in Canada in 1953.

He was the beloved companion of Mrs. Colombe Gougeon born Desforges, and a great friend of the children of the latter.

He was predeceased by his two younger brothers.

He also leaves to mourn many other family members and friends in Canada and Germany.

The families of Mr. Schwaninger and Mrs. Gougeon would like to thank the staff of the Champlain Residence for their tireless dedication and their affection.

An intimate service will take place at a later date.
