Many happy memories of Sunday visits to Hawkesbury, of model trains, of times spent with family and wonderful meals to share. We are saddened at “Uncle Gerald” having passed but rejoice in a life well loved. Rest In Peace. Eternal rest grant unto him O Lord.

My dear Peter, it is with deep sorrow that I have learned of the passing of your beloved father. I remember the days when you and I were band members at HDHS and the times we would go over to your place and enjoy the model trains. Your father was a great human being and he will be forever missed. On behalf of my wife and children, I extend to you and your family members our condolences. Our thoughts and prayers are with you in this difficult time of sorrow.

My sympathies to all the family. I had the pleasure of getting know him, he shared lots of stories. But just before he left for the hospital he shared his chicken bones with me and the story he was proud to tell me. As I’m sitting and writing I’m looking at the pink bag and enjoying his candy, he will be missed by lots Joanne one of his cooks

Please accept our heartfelt condolences on the loss of your loved one. As a former Chenail resident I had the opportunity of spending a few hours with Mr. Boone discussing the history of the saw mills in the Chenail...he was an inspiration!
