DEATH NOTICE
Mr. Albert Radford from Hawkesbury passed away on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at the age of 94.
He was the beloved husband of 71 years to Léonie Radford;
the son of the late George Radford and of the late Catherine Olsen;
the cherished father of Shirley, Linda, Judy (Robert Trowbridge), Darrell (Leslie Cole) and Joyce (late Ted King);
the adored grandfather of Mark, Dylan, Harmony, Taylor, Janik, Anne-Marie, Maxime, Tanya, Lindsay, Rachel, Leonie and Emma;
the great grandfather of Marc-André, Tristan, Kai, Kaden, Dastan and Wyatt;
the dear brother of George (Pauline).
He was predeceased by 2 brothers: William ''Bill'' and Walter (Lucille), and one sister, Hélène.
He is also survived by a brother-in-law Raymond Sarrazin (Anna), nephews, nieces and friends.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Glen Stor Dun Lodge and to the McConnell Residence in Cornwall for their attention to detail and professionalism.
Albert was an active member of the local hockey community. He was a honorary Legionnaire and taught first aid for Saint John Ambulance. He was also an active member of the Holy Trinity Anglican church. He will be fondly remembered for his wit, his wisdom, his love of singing and story telling, his generosity, and his devotion to his family.

A funeral service will follow at Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Hawkesbury at 2 p.m. There is a reception following the service at La Cite Golf Club.

My dear friend Darrell: It is with deep sorrow that I learned of the passing of your beloved father. I remember the years when we would play hockey and he would attend and make us work harder to become better persons. The book of life is the supreme book that cannot be closed or opened at will.
