DEATH NOTICE
Mrs. Madeleine Fontaine Carrière from Chute-à-Blondeau passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at the age of 97.
She was the beloved wife of the late Lomer Carrière;
the daughter of the late Valmor Fontaine and of the late Annette Vien;
the loving mother of Ginette, Réjean (Normand Federeci) and Monique (late Gérard Hoffman);
the adored grandmother of Mario, Pierre, Alain, Chantal Quesnel , Jennifer Hunter and the great grandmother of Lou, Timothé, Alex, Marie-Lou, Anna-Rose, Max, Marc-Olivier, Émmanuelle, Jaden and Eliann;
the dear sister of André (Claudette), Denis (Claire) and Serge (Lilianne).
She is survived by a brother-in-law also by many cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Hawkesbury General Hospital (palliative care) for the excellent care and the Carillon Manor, especially the nurse Johanne, for the joy and love given to our mother as well as the excellent care provided.
Funeral details were entrusted to Berthiaume Family Funeral Home 416, McGill, Hawkesbury, Ontario (877) 632-8511.
A celebration will be held at Chute-à-Blondeau Community Center, on Sunday, October 14, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. The family will be present from 1:30 p.m. to receive your condolences.

Chère Monique, mes pensées sont avec toi. Je suis un peu en retard, Yolande m'avise du décès de ta maman. C'est un gros morceau perdre sa mère qui a vécu tout de même jusqu'à l'âge de 94 ans qui est tout près d'un centenaire, C'est tout de même incroyable. Je t'embrasse ma belle, toi et ta fille ainsi que ta famille proche. Prends soin de toi.
