DEATH NOTICE
Minerva Greeley nee Assaly
We sadly announce the passing of our beloved mother, Minerva Greeley (aka Mickey, Mick, Minnie, Merva and Gram). She left us on January 23rd 2019 peacefully at Hawkesbury General Hospital surrounded by her loving caregivers.
She was the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Norah Assaly, predeceased by her brothers Jim, Wilf and baby Albert Assaly and sisters Kaye, Adele (Courtenay), Juliette (Flo Harden) and Cecilia Assaly.
She is survived by us, her loving daughters, a warm and teasing son-in-law, Brian (she loved the teasing) and grandsons Matthew (Maria) and Alexander whom she adored beyond description. She also leaves her well-loved nieces and nephews of whom she was very proud.
We want to extend special thanks to her lovely and loving caregivers who treated her like the precious jewel she was. JoAnne Malette, Jill Crosby, Wendy Matthew, Rebecca Clement, Kim Taylor, Jennifer Dewar and Cecile Richer.
Lastly, we are grateful to the staff of the LIHN, Bayshore, the Hawkesbury General Hospital and Residence Prescott Russell for their responsiveness and interest in our Mother and the tenderness with which they cared for her.
With her last breath she knew she was loved.

A funeral service to follow at the Holy Trinity Church in Hawkesbury, 440, Stanley Street, Hawkesbury, Ontario at 2 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to Hawkesbury General Hospital, 1111, Ghislain, Hawkesbury, Ontario K6A 3G5 would be greatly appreciated.
