DEATH NOTICE
Mr. William Steppan of Hawkesbury passed away on Thursday, October 3rd, 2019 at the age of 85.
He was the beloved husband of Fernande Roy Steppan;
the son of the late Thomas Steppan and of the late Marguerite Boskavick;
the loved father of Marlene (Sean Donovan), Lucille (François Bouchard), Alain (Ingrid Eccert) and Paul (Jaclyn Creek);
the adored grandfather of Marc, Sandra, Bryan, Martin, Mathieu, Amanda, Keesha, Austin, Logan and Holden;
the great-grandfather of Olyvia, Gabriel and Harrison.
He was predceased by his 3 brothers: Ervin, Siegreied (late Yvette) and Romuald (late Evangeline).
He is survived by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and friends.
William was well known as a treasurer of the Golden Age Club of Hawkesbury and Prescott-Russell Residence.
Friends are invited to Berthiaume Family Funeral Home 416, McGill Street, Hawkesbury, Ontario (877) 632-8511, Thursday, October 10th, 2019 from 9 to 11:30 a.m.
A celebration of life will follow in the funeral home chapel at 11:30 a.m.

I will always remember Willie as one of my best and earliest friends. We met in grade 7 at Catholic High in Montreal. For Willie and I it was always a great joy to watch our families grow up and share in the stories and events that occurred over the last 70+ years. I would like to express my condolences to Ferdinand, their children, Marlene, Lucille, Alain and Paul and their families. Willie lived a full life that should be celebrated but he will be greatly missed by all. Ron
