Wanda was my mother's sister. I will remember her as a very beautiful young woman who loved to participate in sulky races in P.E.I. She loved animals and doted on her Siamese cats. Dear Teddy was her favorite. Because of her husband's job, they lived in a number of countries. Bermuda was a favorite as was Montreal, Quebec. Wanda was a home maker. She was an excellent cook, seamstress and house keeper. Although a quiet lady, she had a wonderful sense of humor. She had the ability to listen well, cut through anything that was unimportant and arrive at the core of a situation She and I both loved to watch good movies and read romantic books. A number of years ago, she requested that I write a book . It took a lot of urging on her part, but since I enjoy writing, I finally agreed. It was based in part on her late husband's experiences as a young boy. Regrettably, an unforeseen event occurred and I did not have the opportunity to show her the finished product. I sincerely believe in an afterlife. Perhaps she and Phil might very well be doing a critique of that book right now. Thank you for the support, Wanda. God bless you.
