DEATH NOTICE
Mr. Michel Le Bel of Hawkesbury, left gently with dignity and courage on Monday, April 6 th, 2020, at the age of 89 years.
He was the beloved husband of the late Colette Parisien.
He is survived by his daughter Diane, his granddaughter Anyk (Jean-Marc Dufour), his great-granddaughter Claudie, his brother Robert (Sandra), his sister Monique, his brother-in-law Marcel Proulx as well as many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Michel has worked in the field of communication for many years. He knew how to make an impression on people who crossed his path. Of a sociable and wise nature, he rarely went unnoticed.
During his struggle, he was accompanied by his loved ones and the staff of the Hawkesbury General Hospital who made a difference in his final moments. The family would like to thank the staff of the Day Care and Palliative Care Unit, in particular, Mrs. Renée Langlois, Mrs. Lucie Méthot and Dr. Sun.
Friends and family are invited to Berthiaume Family Funeral Home 416 McGill Street, Hawkesbury, Ontario (877) 632-8511, on Saturday, November 6th, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
A ceremony will be held in private.
He will rest in peace beside his wife at the Saint-Jean-Baptiste Cemetery, 1057 Queen Street, L'Orignal.

I was so sad to hear of the passing of Michel. Michel would stop on Sandy Hill Road every weekend for the past 2 years to speak to me whilst I was on my run. He was always so lovely and we always wished each other well. He will be missed ❤
