DEATH NOTICE
Mrs. Violette Matte née Montion of Rockland passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at the age of 83 years.
She was the beloved wife of the late Grégoire Matte;
the daughter of the late Dolphé Montion and the late Berthe Deschambeau;
the beloved mother of Sylvie (Barry), Carole (Pierre) and Louis;
the beloved grandmother of Maxime, Alexandre and Zachary;
the great-grandmother of Maika, Chloe, Sophia and Layla;
the dear sister of Ghislaine (Pierre) and Denise (Robert).
She was predeceased by her two sisters: Marcelle (Marc) and Cécile (late Marcel).
She is survived by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Ottawa General Hospital, specifically the 6th floor North-East for their good care.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Berthiaume Family Funeral Home, 416 McGill Street, Hawkesbury, Ontario (877) 632-8511.
A service will take place at a later date.
