DEATH NOTICE
It is with great sadness that Mr. Donald John Cordukes from Ottawa, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 18, 2020 at the age of 95.
Don was a renowned figure in the Ottawa/Québec area golf community, winning 48 amateur golf tournaments between 1943 and 1989.
He was the husband of the late Helen Scott and the late Hilda Atkinson;
the son of the late John Cordukes and of the late Margaret Sales;
the loving father of Norma (Daniel Lafrance) and the late Donna (Dario Pagliarello (Claire));
the adored grandfather of Nicolas (Élisabeth), Donald (Jessenia), Deena (Dan), Aleandro (Holly) and the great-grandfather of Léon;
the dear brother-in-law of Barbara Cordukes.
He was predeceased by two brothers: Bill and Ed.
He will be sorely missed by family and friends.
A heartfelt thank you to the staff of the Prescott-Russell Residence for their care, kindness and dedication.
A Celebration of Life will take place when conditions permit.

Dear Norma and family, I don’t know if you remember me but I am the daughter of the late Barney and Pauline Quintal. Our parents had years of good times at the Hunt Club and in Florida. I think this is the end of an era for a certain group of golfers who were like a “brotherhood” of good friends. Sad to see them all gone.
