DEATH NOTICE
William Ronald (Ron) Seay from Hawkesbury, Ontario born March 27, 1933 passed away Friday December 4, 2020 at the age of 87.
Survived by his sister, Edna Griffiths and predeceased by parents Alexander Seay and Edna (nee Bowles) and brothers James and George.
Beloved husband of the late Joyce (nee Hammond) and leaves four children Bill Seay (Deb), Chris Laver (Rob), Linda Thomas (Nigel) and Tim Seay (Kelly). He is also survived by six grandchildren, Scott Crooks (Melissa), Kristie Schloz (Michael), Jodie Haynes (Stephen), as well as, Christopher Seay, Nathan Seay and Chelsey Seay (Brandon) and nine great grandchildren, Dean, Margo, Alex, Taylor, Wesley, Ethan, Kaylee, Alexis and Harmony.
Ron’s passion was Seay’s Folly Farm, raising his Family, his beloved Morgan Horses and a menagerie of pets throughout the years. Ron was blessed with extended Family and many dear Friends who shared his love of animals, music, good food and drink. He will undoubtedly be welcomed on the other side with love and a party!

I enjoyed working with Ronnie at Marelan where he was Mr. C&G (crushing and grinding) for many years. I was saddened to hear the death of Ronnie (as we called him). I have many great memories of all you kids at the farm while I babysat you and also at the cottage. My heart sank when I learned of your Dad's passing, and my most heartfelt condolences are wished to all my cousins, Chris, Bill, Lynn & Tim. Some of my most treasured memories from my youth are from times spent at the Farm with all of you, and Uncle Ronnie and Auntie Joyce. I definitely got my love for horses, and riding, from your Dad. I'm pretty sure his love of life and laughter and good times runs in the family, passed down no doubt from Nanny and Grampa, and he exuded all of that, and then some. Never a dull moment at Seay's Folly, and his laugh and wit was just the best! I will keep those precious memories of the singalongs and rides and fun and laughter of all those good times I had there with me in my heart always.
