DEATH NOTICE
Mrs. Manon Salicco of Embrun passed away on Sunday, October 31, 2021 at the age of 62 years.
She was the loving daughter of the late Marcel Veillette and the late Alice Moisan;
the beloved mother of Veronic (Jason Griffiths) and Tina (Hafiz Kassam);
the beloved grandmother of Theodore;
the dear sister of Gaëtan (Patricia Vezeau), Serge (Johanne Pothier), Pierre (Thérèse Boisvert), Diane (Jacques Buisson), Jean-Noël and Alain (Pierrette Houle).
She also leaves the father of her children Guy Salicco.
She is also survived by many cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Berthiaume Family Funeral Home 416 McGill Street, Hawkesbury, Ontario
(877) 632-8511.
A celebration will be held in his hometown, La Tuque Quebec, at a later date.

Véronic et Tina, C’est avec cœur lourd et tristesse, que je vous présentes mes plus sincères condoléances. J’ai eu le plaisir de travailler plusieurs années avec votre mère au BSIF, non seulement qu’elle était ma collègues de travail mais Manon était aussi une amie. J’ai peu passer du temps avec elle la semaine passer, un moment que je garderais longtemps dans mon cœur. Manon était une belle personne, calme et douce. Manon me parlais souvent de vous deux et était très fière de ces filles. Sachiez que nous prenons part à votre douleur et soyez assuré de mon soutien le plus sincère.

My deepest condolences, this news has punctured hole in my heart I cannot begin to imagine the amount of pain you are feeling. I have had the opportunity and privilege to work with Manon at OSFI. Manon has always been kind, considerate, and supportive. Her SFS family grieves her loss with you, we mourn with you. Sending my prayers to her and your family. I am so very sorry for your loss. Manon was my admin the last 3 years of my career and she always was a calm and joyous presence in the office. When our colleague, Anne, apprised me last week of Manon’s illness I was shocked. J'aimerais offrir aux proches de Manon mes plus sincères condoléances. Je suis attristé d'apprendre de son départ. Nous étions collègues au Centre des sciences pour la sécurité de RDDC. Comme anciens militaires, nous partagions à l'occasion nos 'histoires de guerre', et on finissait souvent par parler famille. Elle était très fière de la sienne. Puissiez-vous trouver du réconfort dans les beaux souvenirs et moments de son vécu. Bon courage.
