DEATH NOTICE
Mrs. Genara Vite de Wong of Hawkesbury passed away, surrounded by her family on Saturday, January 8th, 2022 at the age of 86.
She was the beloved wife of the late Jose Wong Ching;
the daughter of the late Jose Vite and of the late Teresa Panta;
the cherished mother of Maggie (Margarita);
the mother-in-law of Luis Rivera;
the loving grandmother of Luis and Erick;
the dear sister of Teresa Vite vda de Paiva, Estela Vite vda de Aldana, and Mariana Vite vda de Mendoza.
She was predeceased by her brother, Porfirio Vite Panta.
She is also survived by many cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Kingston General Hospital, specifically the intensive care unit for the excellent care that was given to Genara.
Friends and family are invited to Berthiaume Family Funeral Home, 416, McGill Street, Hawkesbury, Ontario, on Saturday, January 15th, 2022 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Per the new COVID-19 regulations, visitors must call ahead a time to reserve a time slot. You may call (613)-632-8511 between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to reserve. Proof of vaccination will also be asked upon entering.
A funeral service will be reserved for immediate family only.
