DEATH NOTICE
Mrs. Mary Rourke from Hawkesbury passed away on Monday, April 11, 2022 at the age of 77.
She was the beloved husband of the late Bruce Rourke;
the daughter of the late Evariste Provencal and of the late Albina Cayen;
the loving mother of Gail (Murray Kay), Sandy (late Sheila), Martin and Kevin (Shannon Crowley);
the adored grandmother of Matthew, Joshua, Keefer and Christianne;
the dear sister of Lorne, Eileen, Florence, Philipp and Tommy.
She was predeceased by many brothers and sisters.
She is also survived by many cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.
The family wishes to thank the staff of the Prescott Russell Residence for the excellent care.
Funeral details was entrusted to Berthiaume Family Funeral Home Ltd. 416, rue McGill, Hawkesbury, Ontario (877) 632-8511.
A funeral service will be held at the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day-Saints 1001, Spence Ave, Hawkesbury, Ontario K6A 3S4 on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. The family will be present from 10 a.m. to receive your condolences.

Our most sincere sympathies to Sandy, Gail, Martin and Kevin and all the large Rourke family for the passing of your dear mother Mary. How she will be missed! No matter where you lived, she would call all over the world to wish you Happy Birthday. I believe she made calls every day of the year to express her thoughts, well wishes and want news of the family. She would make banana breads, etc. for each person to have a little slice between church meetings. How thoughtful! I was always impressed with her care. And let's not forget her fabulous tasty homemade bread that she would bring to Sacrament meeting. But mostly we will miss her example of the Saviour's love in her deeds and actions. I'm sure she is already very busy above, now that she isn't burdened with sickness. We will miss you and love you dearly.
