DEATH NOTICE
It is with sadness that we announce that Mr. Jean Brunette of Verdun Quebec, originally from St-Eugene, passed away on Friday April 22, 2022 at the age of 80 years after a short battle with cancer.
He was the son of the late Joseph Brunette and the late Hélène Legault;
the dear uncle of Sylvain (Isabelle Hoffman Brunette), Stéphane and Tanya. The great uncle of Natacha (Danick Laliberté). He was predeceased by a brother Léo and 2 sisters: Agathe and Denise. He is survived by a sister-in-law Anita and many cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Verdun Hospital for the good care given.
The funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Berthiaume Family Funeral Home 416 McGill Street, Hawkesbury, Ontario (877) 632-8511.
A service will be held in the privacy of the family.
For those who wish, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, P.O. Box 640 SUCC K, Toronto, Ontario, M4P 9Z9 would be appreciated.

Triste nouvelle! Bruno se joint à moi pour vous offrir nos plus sincères condoléances. Jean pour moi fut toujours Ti-Jean Brunette originaire de mon village St-Eugène. Élégant, fier, vaillant, disant toujours de belles paroles avec un charmant sourire. Je me souviendrai du dérapage que Jean a eu avec sa moto, créant ainsi une vive émotion devant le restaurant de mes parents, endroit fréquemment visité par notre Ti-Jean. Il revient dans le jardin du silence à l'ombre du clocher de son village pour son repos éternel. Nos pensées et nos prières vous accompagnent durant cette période de deuil. 🌹🌹
