Mr. Serge Chaput of Montreal passed away on Friday, September 30, 2022 at the age of 74 years.

He was the loving husband of Johanne Chaput née Roy;

the son of the late Fernand Chaput and the late Ghislaine Murray;

the beloved father of Sylvie (Marco Myre) and Dominic Chaput;

the beloved grandfather of Doriane, Stéphanie, Cédrik, Jesse and Justin;

the great-grandfather of many grandchildren;

the dear brother of Michèle (Richard).

He is also survived by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nephews, nieces and friends as well as his beloved dog, Cookie.

The family would like to thank the staff of the Champlain Residence in L'Orignal for their excellent care.

Those who knew him will remember Serge as an avid fisherman and hockey fan but more specifically as a Montreal Canadiens fanatic. Any Canadiens item, Serge had in his collection. He will be greatly missed by those who knew him.

The family invites relatives and friends to the Berthiaume Family Funeral Home, 416 McGill Street, Hawkesbury, Ontario (877) 632-8511, on Friday, October 7th from 1 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm.

A ceremony of life will follow in the funeral home chapel at 8 pm.
