DEATH NOTICE
Mr. Lionel Lacasse, "Coco" of Hawkesbury, passed away on Thursday, August 24, 2023, at the age of 82.
He was the son of the late René Lacasse and the late Béatrice Laliberté;
the beloved father of Carole (Yvan Lalonde), Manon (Cheryl Paquette), Marc-André and Josée Lacasse;
grandfather of Martine, Stéphanie, David, Alexandre and Élodie;
great-grandfather of Gabrielle, Juliane, Kalya and Amélie.
He was predeceased by his brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces.
He is also survived by several cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.
He was a recognized car salesman and an honorary life member of the Knights of Columbus since 1976.
The family wishes to thank the staff of the Ottawa Civic Heart Institute and the staff of the Hawkesbury General Hospital Palliative Care Unit.
The family invites relatives and friends to the Berthiaume Family Funeral Home, 416 McGill Street, Hawkesbury, Ontario, (877) 632-8511, on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, starting at 11 a.m.
A celebration will follow in the chapel at 2 p.m.
For those who wish, donations to the Hawkesbury General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
The funeral home will make a donation in memory of your loved one to the food bank.
