DEATH NOTICE
Georgette Deslauriers (née Trottier)
1934-2024
Passed away peacefully at the Hawkesbury General Hospital, Friday, March 1, 2024, at the age of 89.
She was the wife of the late Léo Deslauriers;
daughter of the late Philippe Trottier and the late Aimée Trottier (née Myre).
In addition to her husband passing, she was predeceased by her brothers: Rhéal, Léo, Victor, Omer, Wilfrid, Elie, Serge, her sisters: Florence and Thérèse as well as her grandson Carl, her son-in-law Richard and her daughter-in-law Tammy.
She is survived by her children: Denise (Pierre), Diane (Jacques), Gilles, Serge (Joanne) and Alain (Angie). She also leaves her grandchildren: Eric (Monique), Sophie, Benoit, Kariane (Jessica), Sebastian, Christian and her great-grandchildren Kyana (Christopher), Hannah (Liam), Nathan (Rose), Hayden and Axel.
She also leaves several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the caregivers at the Hawkesbury General Hospital for their excellent care. The family would also like to offer a very big thank you to their brother Gilles for taking care of Mom at home.
The family invites relatives and friends to the Berthiaume Family Funeral Home 416 McGill, Hawkesbury, Ontario, (877) 632-8511, on Thursday, March 7, 2024, from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m., and on Friday, March 8, 2024, from 9:30 a.m. A celebration will follow in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m.
For those who wish, donations to the Hawkesbury General Hospital Foundation, 1111 Ghislain, Hawkesbury, Ontario, K6A 3G5 are appreciated.
The funeral home will make a donation in memory of your loved one to the food bank.

Je viens de m’apercevoir que j’ai oublié d’offrir mes plus sincères condoléances aux enfants et à la famille de ma chère cousine Georgette que j’ai pourtant bien connu. Je sais que je l’ai fait sur Facebook mais ça n’excuse rien! Il ne restait plus qu’elle de sa famille et elle les a retrouvés. Repose en paix et protège ta famille et ceux de t’aimes.
