DEATH NOTICE
Mr. Yvon Thivierge of Hawkesbury passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at the age of 84.
He was the loving spouse of Réjeanne Dionne;
the son of the late Hervé Thivierge and Lauréa Perreault;
father of Guy and Marc;
grandfather of Jason and Jessica;
dear brother of Jeannine (late James Cullen), Denise (late Gérard Mathieu), Céline (Jean-Pierre Filiatrault) and Diane (Jeannot Castonguay).
He also leaves the children of his spouse Sylvie (François Lortie) and Caroline (Michel Massia).
He was predeceased by a sister Gaëtane and a brother Ghislain.
He is also survived by many cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.
The family would like to thank the palliative care staff of the Hawkesbury General Hospital for their loving care.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Berthiaume Family Funeral Home 416 McGill, Hawkesbury, Ontario (877) 632-8511.
A celebration will be held at the Valleyfield cemetery.
For those who wish, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, 55 St. Clair Avenue West, Suite 500, Toronto, Ontario, M4V 2Y7 and/or would be appreciated.
The funeral home will make a donation in memory of your loved one to the Food Bank.
