DEATH NOTICE
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Mr. Thomas Ian Hall on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at the age of 88. Son of the late Thomas Malcolm Hall and of the late Elizabeth Alice White.
He was the beloved husband of Kathy Hall (Paulmert), the loving father of Heather (Mauro Natalini), late Colleen and Tom (Marie-Lyne Berthiaume), the cherished grandfather of Elizabeth Mullin (Cory Kuiper), Nathan Shaw (Holly Moreno), Sean Thomas Ogston, Tommy and Daphne Hall, the great grandfather of Darion Mullin and Adelaide Shaw and the dear brother of Ralph (Bobby Rasmussen) and Sue (Gordon Rowe).
He also leaves behind many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and friends.
The family would like to sincerely thank the devoted staff at the Prescott-Russell Residence for all the wonderful care given.
Tom's heart belonged to the water, having had sailboats and canoes his entire life. His last sailboat was his beloved ''TomKat''. When not sailing, Tom was an avid reader, skier, outdoorsman and woodworker. He was a longtime member of St-John's No.21a Masonic Lodge in Vankleek Hill, Ontario.
Family and friends are invited to Berthiaume Family Funeral Home, 416 McGill, Hawkesbury, Ontario (877) 632-8511 on Thursday, October 17, 2024 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. to celebrate the wonderful life of Tom.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Parkinson Canada and/or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation Ontario.
The funeral home will make a donation in memory of your loved one to the Food Bank.

Dad, I miss you. I love you. You showed remarkable strength, humour and patience when things got really tough! You showed me how to sail, how to paddle, to ski, to draw, to snorkel, the love of reading and escaping into a good book, you taught me the trees and scenery for my summer job at Carillon Provincial Park nature walks. My friends always wanted to stay over if you were going to tell a scary story… because you made the stories exceptionally awesome as you walked back and forth across the creaky hardwood with an oil lit lantern telling us about Professor Van Helsing and other characters… I could not have wished for a better father. You and mama were an awesome team. I will watch for dragonflies. Until we meet again…( but not to soon ok) Love Heather xoxo
