Kazimierz “Karl” Karlsbad passed away on Monday, February 17, 2025 at the age of 100.

At a very young age, Karl learned not only the value, but also the cost, of freedom.
It was a lesson he never lost. He possessed a faith, and a love for life, that never wavered.
All who came to know him, came to love him. He will be missed, but never forgotten.

He was the loving husband of the late Stanislawa “Stella” Karlsbad;
The son of the late Roman & Maria Karlsbad;
The loving father of Maryś (Louise) and Ewa (Bob);
The beloved grandfather of Carole (Claude), Basha (Michael), Maryśia (Danny), Kristen, Thomas;
The beloved great grandfather of Carl (Jacynthe), Mathieu, Luc (Andréanne), Syndy, Pharrell;
The beloved great great grandfather of Lili, Jesse, Zoé, Aimy, Leo, Éloïse, Hubert;
The beloved uncle of Marek and his extended family

He was predeceased by his brother Tadeusz
He is also survived by his sisters-in-law: Kazimiera and Marii, and many friends.

Funeral service will be held at St-Jude's Church, Hawkesbury, on Monday, March 03rd, 2025, at 1 p.m.
The family will be present at the church from 12:30 p.m. to receive your condolences.

A burial ceremony and celebration of life will be held at a later date in the spring.

The family would like to thank the many caregivers that helped Karl in the final miles of his journey, particularly, Wendy, Katelyn, Kamryn, Nicole, Bryce, Jennifer, Maryanne, Brigitte, and the staff & volunteers of the BC unit of Maxville Manor
