DEATH NOTICE
Mr. Benoit Durocher of Hawkesbury passed away on Friday, May 30, 2025, at the age of 94.
He was the beloved husband of the late Simone Ouimet Durocher;
the son of the late Albert Durocher and Ida Bergeron;
the beloved father of Michel (Martin Gamache), Suzanne (Michel Lacroix) and Danielle (Serge Bouchard);
grandfather of Véronique (Faesel Al-Dousary) and great-grandfather of Sarrah (Abbaas Kadhem), Fajr, Kareem, Ali, as well as great-great-grandfather of Asiyah, Aliyah and Hayyat;
dear brother of Monique (the late Gérard Bouthillette).
He was predeceased by two brothers: François, Philippe and four sisters: Thérèse, Marthe, Lorraine and Cécile.
He is also survived by many cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Hawkesbury General Hospital for their loving care.
Funeral details were entrusted tot Berthiaume Family Funeral Home 416 McGill, Hawkesbury, Ontario (877) 632-8511.
Funeral service will be held at the Saint-Pierre-Apôtre Parish in Hawkesbury on Friday, June 13, 2025 at 11 a.m. The family will be present from 10:15 a.m. to receive your condolences.
For those who wish, donations to the Hawkesbury General Hospital Foundation, 1111 Ghislain Street, Hawkesbury, Ontario, K6A 3G5 would be appreciated.
The funeral home will make a donation in memory of your loved one to the food bank.

On se souviendra de lui comme employé du Brewer's Retail ou The Beer Store ainsi que membre des Chevaliers de Colomb et le Hawkesbury Golf and Curling Club. En plus de ses passions pour le hockey, le ski alpin, le baseball et le golf il aurait fait plusieurs voyages avec amis ... il est parti paisiblement et finalement réuni avec maman, ses frères et soeurs, ainsi que de nombreux amis.
