**In Loving Memory of Shirley Harris**

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley Harris, who left us peacefully in Hawkesbury, Ontario, on June 21, at the remarkable age of 98. A woman who truly embraced the essence of life, Shirley was a beacon of love for both her family and the natural world around her.
Born with a profound appreciation for the beauty of nature, Shirley spent her days in the countryside, where she cultivated countless fond memories with her beloved family. Her passionate spirit and nurturing heart will be cherished by all who knew her.
Shirley was the devoted wife of the late Paul Von Colditz and the loving sister of the late John Harris (late Patricia Reynolds) and the late Ann Harris (Uppinder Anand). She was a proud mother to Janice McConnell and Suzanne Shackell (Bill), and a doting grandmother to Allen Idle and Robert Shackell, as well as a great-grandmother to the delightful Layla Idle. Her legacy continues through her many nieces and nephews, who carry her love and wisdom forward.
In keeping with Shirley's wishes, no funeral will be held. A private cremation has taken place, and she will be interred at Cote St. Charles Cemetery in Hudson, Quebec, alongside her cherished family members.
