DEATH NOTICE
Mr. Maurice Goulet, of Lloydmister, Alberta, passed away suddenly in a car accident on Monday, November 24, 2025, at the age of 88.
He was the loving husband of the late Annette Tittley;
He was the son of the late Rosario Goulet and the late Yvonne Séguin;
the father of Caroline and Christian;
the beloved brother of the late Murielle (Richard Cayen), the late Jean-Guy (Yolande Guindon), the late Raymond, and the late Germain (Rita);
the uncle of Pierre, Christine, Nathalie, France, Michelle, Luc, Roque, Sophie, André, Alain, Michel, Claude, and Sylvie;
He is also survived by several uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
Mr. Goulet worked in cellulose product research (International Paper), chemical refining (Commercial Alcohols), and oil refining (Husky Energy).
Known for his unique sense of humor and engaging personality, Maurice also had a remarkable talent for operating a drinking water plant, which is named the “Maurice Goulet Water Plant.”
He was a devout Catholic.
He enjoyed traveling extensively in Europe, the USSR, China, and Egypt.
The family invites relatives and friends to the Berthiaume Family Funeral Home, 416 McGill, Hawkesbury, Ontario (877) 632-8511, on December 5, 2025, starting at 12 p.m.
The funeral will be held at St. Joachim Church in Chute-à-Blondeau on Friday, December 5, at 2 p.m.

The funeral home will make a donation in memory of your loved one to the food bank.
