DEATH NOTICE
Mr. John "Jack" Pharand of L’Orignal passed away on Monday, June 1, 2026, at the age of 72.
He was the son of the late Emmanuel Pharand and Myrtle Bennett.
Jack was a loving father to his two daughters, Susie (Paul McCullough) and Stéphanie, and an adored grandpa to Rebecca and Ryan.
Predeceased by his parents and siblings, he is survived by sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, as well as many cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.
Jack Pharand was a devoted father, a proud entrepreneur, and a man whose presence brought warmth and laughter wherever he went. He was passionate about his work as a construction entrepreneur, taking great pride in every project and building lasting relationships through his dedication, integrity, and hard work. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Jack was known for his wonderful sense of humor, always ready with a joke, a smile, or a story that could brighten anyone’s day. His love for his family, his commitment to his craft, and his ability to bring joy to those around him will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched and the memories he leaves behind.
The family wishes to thank the Staff of the Hawkesbury General Hospital ICU department and the Paramedics of Prescott Russell Emergency department for the great care.
