DEATH NOTICE

Mr. Claude Dewar of Hawkesbury passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at the age of 60.

He was the son of the late John Normand Dewar and the late Marie Dewar (née Ladouceur);
the beloved brother of Lynn (Brandon Young), Luc J (Chantal), and Ann (Steve Totten);
the cherished uncle of Jessy (Kasandra), Leesa (Adam), Shawn, Yanik, Stephanie (Andrey), Danny, and Casey.
He is also survived by many cousins and friends.


Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Berthiaume Family Funeral Home, 416 McGill, Hawkesbury, Ontario (877) 632-8511.

A private family memorial service will be held at St-André Cemetery in Argenteuil.

For those who wish to make a donation, contributions to the Hawkesbury General Hospital Foundation, 1111 Ghislain Street, Hawkesbury, Ontario, K6A 3G5, would be appreciated.

The funeral home will make a donation in memory of your loved one to the food bank.
