DEATH NOTICE

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Mrs. Elsie Cummings of Vankleek Hill on July 15th, 2026, at the age of 93.

She was the daughter of the late Margaret and Gilbert Lajoie and wife of the late Wesley Cummings.

She leaves behind cherished memories for her children: Alan (Linda Vernier), Maureen, Jo-Anne (Yves Gamache), Bobby (Barbara Axford) and Sandra (Ian McRae).

She will also be remembered fondly by her companion Quincy, her sister Joan, her grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as many nephews, nieces and friends.

She was predeceased by her daughter Donna, her granddaughter Dawn and her sisters Hazel, Phyillis and Frances.

The family would like to thank Louise and Nick Gouskos, Shelley Ryan, Sandra Robinson, Ginette Sauvé, Ian McRae and Sylvie St-Amour for all their care and for always being there.

A service will take place in private.

For those who wish, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, 113, Second St. E, Lower level, Unit # 1, Cornwall, Ontario, K6H 1W5 and/or the Ottawa Humane Society, 245 Hunt Club Road W., Nepean, Ontario, K2A 1A6, would be appreciated.
