DEATH NOTICE
Mrs. Lise Sylvain of Hawkesbury passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at the age of 91.
She was the daughter of the late Alison Côté and the late Ida Scott;
the beloved mother of Hélène (Daniel Dicaire) and Julie (André Lapensée);
the adored grandmother of Alexandre (Jenna) and Émilie (Brandon);
the dear sister of Roger (Jocelyne) and Huguette.
She was predeceased by her brother Louis.
She is also survived by many cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.
The family would like to thank the staff at Prescott Russell Residence for the excellent care they provided.
We will remember Lise as a woman who was passionate about golf—a sport she loved to play—as well as nature and the outdoors. She was full of energy and loved fun outings with friends, especially to the casino.
Lise will remain in our hearts and memories.
Rest in peace, dear Lise.
The family invites family and friends to the Berthiaume Family Funeral Home, 416 McGill, Hawkesbury, Ontario (877) 632-8511, on Saturday, 19 2026, starting at 9:30 a.m. A celebration will follow in the chapel at 11:00 a.m.
For those who wish, donations to the Prescott-Russell Residence Foundation, 1020 Cartier Blvd., Hawkesbury, Ontario, K6A 1W7, would be appreciated.
The funeral home will make a donation in memory of your loved one to the food bank.
