DEATH NOTICE
Yvette Roy of Chute-à-Blondeau passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at the age of 93.
She was the loving wife of the late Fernand Roy;
the daughter of the late Honoré Major and the late Albertine Rozon;
the beloved mother of Luc (Françoise Parent), Yvan (Michelle), and Charles (Jean-Claude);
the adored grandmother of Sébastien, Mathieu (Lynda), Maxime (Sonia), and Jessica.
She was predeceased by her brothers and sisters.
She is also survived by several cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.
The family would like to thank the staff at Manoir Carillon and the staff at Hawkesbury General Hospital for the excellent care provided.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Salon Funéraire Familial Berthiaume, 416 McGill, Hawkesbury, Ontario, (877) 632-8511.
The funeral service will be held at St. Joachim Church in Chute-à-Blondeau on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. The family will be present starting at 10:30 a.m. to receive your condolences.
For those who wish to do so, donations to the Hawkesbury General Hospital Foundation, 1111 Ghislain Street, Hawkesbury, Ontario, K6A 3G5, would be appreciated.
The funeral home will make a donation in memory of your loved one to the food bank.
