Mr. André Leroux of St-Bernardin passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at the age of 94.

He was the loving husband of the late Stella Leroux (née Méthot);

The son of the late Esdras Leroux and the late Marianne Lalonde;

The beloved father of Albert (Lynda Fradette), Francine (Françoys Bourgon), Serge, Marc (Joanne Leroux), Claude (France McLean-Leroux), and Éric (Nathalie Lapensée-Leroux);

The adored grandfather of Stéphanie (Nicolas), Mylène (Jean-David), the late Alexandre, Francis (Priscillia), Cédric (Marie-Pier), Mélina (Frédérik), Mathieu (Melissa), Patrick, Caroline (Maxime), Jonathan (Laura), Sabrina (Sunny), Justin (Janie), Lovanie (Isaac), Paul-André (Amy), and Maëlle (Joël).

Great-grandfather to several great-grandchildren;

Beloved brother of Marie-Claire (the late Gaston Levac) and brother-in-law of Marie-Reine (the late Roch) and Francine Villeneuve (the late Grégoire Leroux).

He was also preceded by his brothers and sisters-in-law: Philippe (the late Eva Gauthier), Léo (the late Aline Couture), Armand (the late Jeannine Bougie), and Grégoire (the late Huguette Wathier).

He is also survived by his close friend Thérèse Gauthier, as well as several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.

The family would like to thank the staff at Walford on the Hill in Vankleek Hill and at Hawkesbury General Hospital for the excellent care provided.
