Mrs. Françoise Lalonde (née Berlinguette) of Hawkesbury, originally from Chute-à-Blondeau, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at the age of 88.

She was the loving wife of the late Arthur Lalonde;

the daughter of the late Léo Berlinguette and the late Julie Berniquez;

the beloved mother of Michel, Joanne (Jacques), and the late Sylvie (Ghislain);

the adored grandmother of Pascal (Tina), Janick (Ryan), and Sophie (Pier-Olivier), and the great-grandmother of Tristan, Audrey, Noah, Ophélie, and Caleb;

the dear sister of Suzanne (André), Louise (Jean-Yves), and Josée.

She was predeceased by her brothers and sisters: Pauline (late Marcel), Jeannette, Claudette, Denise, Rachel (late Lionel), and Gérald (late Rita).

She is also survived by a brother-in-law, Jean, as well as several uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Prescott-Russell Residence for the excellent care provided.

A private service will be held.

Françoise was proud of many milestones in her life. She was proud of her children, her grandchildren, and her great-grandchildren. She loved spending time with them, and they will cherish precious memories of her. She was also proud of the restaurant she owned in the late 1970s: “Le Restaurant des Cèdres” in Chute-à-Blondeau. It was a true passion for her, and she held those memories close to her heart.
