Mr. Joannis Zezas from Ottawa, originally of Greece passed away suddenly on Wednesday, October 28, 2026 at the age of 67.

He was the loving son of the late Evangelos Zezas and of the late Catherine Koklas and the dear brother of Marianne, Georgia and Penelope (John).

He is also survived by many cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.

A service will be held in private.

Joannis also known as John, was an incredible kind person. Everyone who had a chance to come across him would just love him immediately. John immigrated from Greece with his family when he was a very young child. Throughout his time as a teenager, he would often help his parents and his sisters by working at the family restaurant in Hawkesbury, La Résidence which was always busy and always delicious. John had some harder times in the years following but he never lost his kindness and his charm. His family and friends will always remember him as kind and hardworking.
