Brenda née le 1 octobre 1951 est décédée le dimanche 2 juin 2013
Elle était la meilleur amie et âme sœur à son époux Burton McHardy de 37 ans;
la fille adorée de Duncan MacTavish et de feu Doris Roberts;
la chère sœur de Garry (feu Joan Clarke), Reid (Debbie Mott), Sheila (Larry Kennedy), Dale (feu Burt Bates), Kim (Ken Westgate), Richard (Darlene Bates) et Colleen (Tim Kirkpatrick);
la tante bien-aimée de Dawna, Jeff, Scott, Tracy, Curtis, Casey, Josh, Cory, Chelsea, Denver, Candice, Haily et Sam;
la belle-soeur de Jane (Joe Phillips) et Helen (Lloyd Sweeney).
Elle fut prédécédée par ses beaux-parents Kenneth et Florence McHardy.
Elle sera manquée avec amour par ses neveux et nièces qui lui était très chère. Elle était une épouse, sœur, belle-sœur et grande tante dévoué avec une flamme de vivre, aimé et rire avec tous. Elle demeurera dans nos mémoires avec son sourire, son courage, générosité et gentillesse.

My sincerest sympathy to you and your family, Burt. I am in touch with Shirley McHardy Manning on a fairly regular basis and she told me the sad news. If you remember, I went to school with Brenda (she was the same age as me) and also with Janie. I live in Echo Bay, ON not far from Sault Ste Marie and don't get "home" too often. But I think of everyone and the good times we shared. I have pictures of Brenda to treasure. I am sure you have more than a few photos yourself.
