Monsieur Herbert Chew de Hawkesbury est décédé le vendredi 26 mai 2017 à l'âge de 84 ans.
Il était le tendre époux de feu Shirley Chew née Le Dain ;
le fils de feu Herbert Sr. Chew et de feu Fanny Bryon Cuthbert;
le père bien-aimé de Brian (Pannaphat), Randy (Margaret) et Dean (Yvonne);
le grand-père adore de Martine, Erika (Breandon Barnett), Jennifer, Christopher, Jonathan, Matthew, Stephan, Ryan, Ploysopid et Kittapan;
Il fut prédécédé par ses sœurs
Lui survivent également une belle-sœur ainsi que plusieurs cousins, cousines, neveux, nièces et ami(e)s.
La famille invite parents et amis à la Chapelle F.X. Berthiaume, 1243 rue Lansdowne, Hawkesbury, Ontario (877) 632-8511, à compter de 13 h. Une célébration suivra dans la chapelle à 14 h.

I would like to express my heartfelt sympathy on the passing of your dad. Uncle Sonny will be greatly missed. I always called him Uncle Sonny as a child and loved coming to visit him. Even though the visits down east were not very frequent the memories I have of him are special and I will cherish them always. Rest in Peace Uncle Sonny, I love you and miss you. Brian, Randy and Dean, May the love of those around you help you through the days ahead. My thoughts and prayers will be with you all during the Memorial and the Celebration of his life. I am so sorry to hear about dear Bert. He was the historian in the Chew family and gave us a lot of background on my mother's side of the family. His father and my mother's father were brothers. So, we are cousins, once or twice removed (I never could figure that out). On behalf of my niece, Megan, I would like to offer our condolences. We saw Bert and Shirley and Bandit in 2010 after my mom, Dorothy, passed away. I never got to meet his boys, but I want them to know that they are in my prayers at this sad time.
