AVIS DE DÉCÈS
C'est avec une profonde tristesse que nous annonçons le décès soudain de Colleen Patricia Hall-Ogston de Brockville, originaire de Chute-à-Blondeau. Elle est décédée tragiquement à son domicile le mercredi 15 septembre 2021 à l'âge de 55 ans.
Elle laisse dans le deuil ses parents Thomas Ian Hall et Mary Theresa Kathleen Paulmert (Hall). La chose la plus difficile pour un parent est de survivre à son enfant. Il y a à la fois une grande perte et un grand amour.
Elle manquera à jamais à ses enfants bien-aimés, Elizabeth Mullin et Sean Thomas Ogston ainsi qu'à son petit-fils adoré Darion Mullin. Elle ne s'est jamais retenue, se surpassant toujours lorsqu'il s'agissait de ses enfants.
Sa soeur Heather Hall (Mauro Natalini), son frère Tom Hall (Marie-Lyne Berthiaume), ses neveux et nièce, Nathan (Holly Moreno), Tommy et Daphne Hall garderont à jamais de merveilleux souvenirs d'elle dans leur cœur.
Elle laisse également dans le deuil de nombreux oncles, tantes, cousins, ami(e)s proches, collègues et élèves de l'école St-John-Bosco de Brockville. Elle était une enseignante inspirante qui aimait les méthodes d'enseignement créatives, artistiques et attentionnées qui continuent d'inspirer la prochaine génération.
La famille et les amis sont invités à célébrer la vie de Colleen Patricia Hall-Ogston, une lumière qui s’est éteinte trop tôt, au Salon funéraire familial Berthiaume, 416, rue McGill, Hawkesbury, Ontario (877) 632-8511 le samedi 25 septembre 2021 à compter de 10 h.
La célébration de vie aura lieu à l'église St-Joachim de Chute-à-Blondeau, Ontario le samedi 25 septembre 2021 à 13 h.
La webdiffusion de la célébration sera disponible en ligne sur le site du salon funéraire dans les jours qui suivent.

Our good memories,. 1. Your love and appreciation of the great outdoors, nature, gardening, kayaking! 2. Your creative zest- how you could turn nothing, into something great! 3. Your zany, but awesome DIY projects 4. Your thoughtful, way of building a poem for the right occasion and reading it aloud, warming the hearts of all those around. 5. I will remember a beautiful, creative young woman. I am so very sorry for your loss. I’m sure Colleen touched and shaped many young lives for the better as a passionate teacher. She had a free spirited infectious laugh and an ability to see alternative approaches. A bright light extinguished too soon. My heartfelt condolences to all Colleen’s family and friends. My childhood memories of time spent on the shores of lake Memphremagog with my cousins and grandparents are near and dear to my heart and bring back happy, and good times. Colleen had a great gift of creativity for arts which she shared with all our family, with Christmas and spacial occasions, home made ornaments for everyone, this kept Sean very busy and lees time for fishing! Colleen will always be Aunty Cloe to her nieces,Samantha and Katie, who cherished many memories with her ! As a professional teacher, her students were her drive and stability in her life, whom she doeted on to bring out their best ! My family and I will always cherish the fantastic and beautiful remembrance documentary she made of my Patricia’s life 25/07/14 ,we will always be grateful to Colleen for this selfless act of thoughtfulness! This tragic loss to someone who left us to soon, with reasons we will never understand or know! Even when she made mention of being in a dark place at times in her short life! I think we can all take a lesson from this tragedy to try to reach out and let’s talk ! We will miss all the good and happy times we shared with Colleen , knowing she has found the light and peace she was seeking! Colleen et moi avons travaillé ensemble il y a plusieurs années pour organiser l'installation d'une trentaine d'ordinateurs à l'école St-Joachim. En plus de servir aux élèves de l'école, ces ordinateurs ont servi pour initier les personnes âgèes aux plaisirs de l'ordinateur. J'ai adoré travailler avec Colleen et j'en garde un très bon souvenir.

Mme O, you left such a footprint on the heart of my children, for that I will always be thankful. They loved having you teach them and even years that you were not teaching they sought after ways to involve you in their lives. You were one of the "smiles" in the school, always doing anything you can to engage the children. They perked up when they saw you pass in the hallway, ready to wave and say bonjour. You gave so much to the students, staff and SJB school. Thank you, and may our memories and the good will you gave to our kids be passed on to others yet to cross our paths.
