My sympathies to Len's family. Len was a great man, his smiles, laughter and love of life will be missed by everyone that knew him. He will always be remembered for the great Generous & Loving man he was. He's with his Mom & Dad, so now, rest in peace my dear friend.

I was terribly saddened to read about Len's recent passing. I knew Len through the antiques business as well as his time as in instructor at a community college in Ottawa. Len was such a kind and caring person. I enjoyed our brief encounters at antique shows and always looked forward to having a visit with him. He made me happy with his keen sense of humour. He will really be sadly missed by me. Rest in Peace, Len. Pat Orme

My deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Len . It was a pleasure working, laughing and even sometimes complaining with him, he was a kind man with a huge heart. Rest in peace my dear friend and may antique oil lamps still light your way. (By the way if you run into an unusual teapot or two save them for me). Fondly remembered always. Rose Reilly

My wife and I were devastated to learn of the passing of Leonard. He had a profound impact on our lives. We took his courses on Antiques & Collectibles at Algonquin College back in the early 2000's. This led to our decision to collect pressed glass in our retirement until we ran out of room in our home. We were privileged to spend an evening at Leonard's home in Wendover among his treasures. We helped him at the Appraisal Show at the Billings Estate where he could identify the most obscure object, delighting their owner. I am reminded of him every time I pick up one of our celery vases. He was a generous man and we will remember him forever. Anna and Barry Hemmings, Ottawa. 613-731-3231

To the family of Len, I offer my deepest sympathy. Len was a very nice person, always laughing and talking to us about his antiques every time he came to the Vieux Château Restaurant. He promises me home made relish- I'm still waiting for it. I'll take a rain-check Len. Rest in peace. Sincerely, Aline Lahaie-Davidson

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Leonard's untimely death. He and his parents were dear friends of our family, and especially with our late mother Catharine who appreciated their kindness and support. While I didn't see Leonard often, and not recently, he was always jovial and engaging whenever we did meet. He was a great talker and even better listener. Please accept my deepest condolences and prayers on your loss.
