DEATH NOTICE
Mr. Peter Burgess from Montréal passed away on Friday, December 11, 2020 at the age of 91.
He was the beloved husband of the late Norah Burgess born Wells;
the son of the late Hamilton Burgess and of the late Margaret Phipps;
the loving father of Gary (Joanne), John (Nancy), Debra (Jim Nicholls), Cheryl (Don Stewart), Darlene (Robert Maclean) and Lianne;
the adored grandfather of seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren;
the dear brother of Emma, Francis, Patricia, Georgina and George.
He was predeceased by 3 brothers and a sister.
He is survived by many cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.
Funeral details were entrusted to Berthiaume Family Funeral Home 416, McGill, Hawkesbury, Ontario (877) 632-8511.
A celebration will be held in the privacy of the family at 10:00am on Friday December 18, 2020. The family will reconvene at 2:00pm at the Field of Honour, Peter’s final resting place with Norah.
Notes: Due to Covid, a recording will be posted on the website Funeraweb.tv for 90 days.
The family hopes to plan a celebration of life for Peter later in 2021
